This morning on my way to work, I stopped by Starbucks with my Dean & Deluca mug (bought during the Felicity years) and they filled it up for free. For lunch, I met an old coworker at P.F. Chang's who is offering 15% off dine-in and take-out today. And then in a great moment of free-dom, my old coworker paid.
It seems like everyone is offering something for free today in honor paying our taxes. So I have something free for you: a FREE life-time membership to anyone who signs up early on OppositesConnect.com, a new dating website.
Opposites Connect is a new online dating site that is backed by psychologists (similar to the creditability factor of eHarmony.com) but connects singles with their opposite based on a quiz which connect five paradigms of likeness, compatibility and interests.
The goal isn’t the cliché that opposites attract. It’s to connect individuals with more interesting dates. This site won’t tout marriage, promise to find Mr. or Mrs. Right – but will guarantee that “your first dates turn to fun dates” and that singles are finally meeting interesting, new somebodies. Opposites Connect creates intellectual conversations and fascinating relationships.
The concept sounds interesting to me, especially if it is free! Early sign-ups will get VIP access on the launch date as well as to regional events.
Curvy Jones, I expect you to be signed up by the end of the day.

Why you gotta call me out like that? I'm just uhmmmm I'm just gonna see what it's about.
Yeah... just... research. For the blog.
What?
... you know I was gonna send Curvy that link too :-)
Yea! Do it, Curvy! Do it!
I might look at it too...just to be informed. :)
cool concept! i'll tell some friends about it- I don't think i'm ready considering the last time my mother offered to pay for JDate I started to cry. And yes, I was in starbucks when this happened :)
I don't know if I can do another dating site, even for free but thanks for the offer!
So how much did you get paid to "write" this blog post?
Not a single penny. I tried to let you know that on your blog but I couldn't navigate through the tons of ads. How much do you get paid to "write"?
HA! Burned Moon-Kid.
Done.
Will my date be on the opposite side of the world too?
That could be cool.
Is this a known thing with Starbucks offering free coffee if you bring in a mug? I had no idea!
Hmmm... sounds intriguing for sure. I'm all for having a more interesting date. I'll def check this out!

It was just a special offer for tax day, but I think they do it several times a year!
