Ech. You don't have to comply, do you?
I don't know. Haven't picked up the call or called him back. It's wait and see if I get subpoenaed or not.
I guarantee you that the attorney doesn't know the real story - that S lied to him just like he lied to the police.
If you do speak with the attorney just be honest, tell him what you told the insurance company. He probably wouldn't want to subpoena you after that because your testimony probably wouldn't be helpful to his case at all.
I agree with Anonymous.
The lawyer hasn't left a message explaining what he wants? Look up the lawyer and see if you can find anything out about him.
agree with Anon and Breeza... if you can find out a little bit about the lawyer that might help.
Hate to join the bandwagon, but the points are valid.
No problem you are not doing anything wrong by avoiding the lawyers call. Unless you are served don't worry about it.
Dude is like a yeast infection that won't go away. Someone needs to invent Ex-boyfriend Monistat!
Keep your chin & your boobs up, Kiddo. I promise it will get better.
Sheesh... what an ongoing nightmare! How can S. afford all the legal representation though? And what kind of legal representation is that? Sounds a lot like intimidation to me, but then again, I am European and we do things differently here. It's just another challenge for you and you shall overcome so hang in there. x
You _have_ spoken to the insurance company by now, yes? Also, look up the attorney.
Ring me if you need.
@Ariel: PI attorneys will typically work for a percentage of the settlement; so they don't get paid until you do.
