I'm in the car with my step-mother today and she's asking me about CB. I said the date was alright but he didn't have the vocabulary I did or comes from the family I do. She said that maybe he's really good in other areas.
"He can make a hell of a cup of coffee, right?"
"That he can do."
I sat there for a minute. Maybe I am judging him pretty harshly. He does make the best coffee I've ever had, that counts for something.

I hope you can see the good qualities in the guy and enjoy some time with him. However when it comes to serious long term relationships you should defintely seek a man who on or above your own "vocabulary" level. It makes a BIG difference in a lot of ways. My first husband was a high school drop out and I have a Bachelor's Degree. It was very, very frustrating.
