Yesterday I walked in the door from work and I pounced. It had been a few days since I had any lovin' and I just didn't want to wait any longer. It took a few minutes to convince the boyfriend to give up on his nap. Finally I lead him in the bedroom where we frantically peel each other's clothes off...
And his watch clips me in the nose.
An uppercut of quartz and metal, I cried out as I collapsed onto the bed. The men's watch is just so much bigger than the women's watch. It's also heavier. Instinctively I pushed against the bridge of my nose to stop the pain and make sure it was still attached to my face. It hurt so badly that I even checked to see if it was broken: my nose, not the watch. It wasn't and I didn't want to wreck the mood, so I pushed against it one more time to stop the blood flow and forced myself to forget about it.
Today my nose throbs. It has three cuts on it from the stupid edges of the face. The bruising is light to moderate. And because he hit the bridge, the pain is between my eyes. A steady, pulsing throb.
Please tell me this kind of stuff happens to other people too.

If it's any consolation, the fiancee punched me in the kidney last night...repeatedly. She blamed it on a nightmare involving "Shopaholic Ties the Knot" and wedding jitters. Whatever.
Oh yes, that, and worse! ;)
... but I wouldn't wanna write anything "dirty" over here. LOL!! ;P
Yeah, the Argentinian elbowed me in the nose one night while pulling his arm out from under my pillow. As I sat up to let him remove his arm easier, the elbow came down. I also thought it was broken since I had heard a crack. Luckily it was fine, just sore for a few days
Have had a few accidents whilst getting busy, only a couple stopped play, the worst was head butting each other which hurt like hell.
My husband has actually broken my nose 2 separate times. The height difference doesn't help...I'm right in elbow range for him.
OMG I swear I let out a straight up guffaw laugh at my desk when I read this!! I scared the heck out of my office mate!
Like lil bit said and worse! I love so many stories about noses!! I have the tendency to wallop in the chin or catch a cheek bone.
If stuff like this never happened, I'd be worried because it would mean you weren't getting any!
This morning I punched myself in the nose while half asleep - the tophalf of my arm was asleep as I tried to pull the doona over me.
It's only fair - I sleep with my hand under my head and my elbow straight out, and I've been sprung many times rubbing my elbow in The Hun's face while he's asleep!
I've gotten an elbow to the face in his sleep, while he's awake, etc... So yes, you aren't alone. So sorry you had to join the ranks, though! ;o)
Put some ice on it and make Scott kiss it...A LOT. Ha!
I've never had a watch to the nose, but I am quite adept in trying to be sexy and roll around, and kicking some guy or elbowing him in the willy.
I'm all for a little rough play but outright bruising is beyond my comfort zone. You are TOTALLY on your own with this one, kiddo. Although, if it meant I'd get a little human touch, I'd happily agree to a nose knock... Wow, my life is officially pathetic.
LOL Yes stuff like that happens to everyone. We usually give each other black eyes in one form or another. I also suffer from multiple muscle cramps in my hips now if that doesn't make me look like an idiot in bed I don't know what does.
yep, love hurts Sarah!!
Yep. I once smacked my head off the wall and got concussion!
Well, look on the bright side, chicky. At least you have someone to come home to and to get lucky WITH! Injuries and all... I'm still jealous, lol.
(And trust me, that's totally normal. I've got a few sex-owie stories, too. I think everyone does, but yours was pretty damn funny!)
Umn yeah. I broke my nose having nookie once...

but I (unintentionally) got my revenge a year later by bashing him over the head with my plaster cast (I had a broken wrist) when asleep. He woke up with some impressive bruises...
One morning I was going to flip over to cuddle with J. While on my stomach, my arm was under all the pillows. As I pulled it free it got a little momentum and J was leaning into me and BAM!!!!! Right in the eye socket.
For a chance to go to bed with the right woman, I'm quite willing to endure a broken nose--and a broken heart too, if that's what it takes.
I actually had to go to the doctor after I broke my toe one night in bed. I'm still not entirely sure how it happened, but it definitely ruined the mood.
yikes! your post and these comments are scary...but funny - I've hurt myself by banging my head against the wall a few times I have to admit ;-)
Sex + Jewelry = potential for pain.
